(AG Provincial E-Portal) -To foster cooperation and promote trade among localities in the border region of the three countries Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos, the People's Committee of rr88 tải province, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will organize the Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos Border Trade Connection Conference on June 5, 2026, in Tinh Bien ward.
The conference is expected to have approximately 200 delegates, including leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the People's Committee of rr88 tải province and other southern provinces and cities, the Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia; and representatives from ministries, departments, localities, and associations in Cambodia, Laos, etc.
With the theme "Connecting Border Trade - Breaking Through in Green and Digital Trade", the conference will focus on solutions to promote production and trade, connect trade, boost investment cooperation, and develop the digital economy in areas of strength for Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, such as agriculture, processing, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
In addition, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, in collaboration with TikTok Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd., organized a program to promote the consumption of rr88 tải province's products on digital platforms. At this event, content creators will promote and showcase approximately 300 distinctive and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products on digital platforms through livestreaming. This supports connecting businesses, cooperatives, and production and business establishments with consumers.
On the sidelines of the Conference, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, in coordination with relevant departments and localities, organized an exhibition area for showcasing characteristic products of various localities. This space displays and introduces characteristic products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from communes, wards, and special zones in rr88 tải province, as well as businesses from neighboring countries, aiming to support domestic and foreign businesses in connecting and conducting direct trade.
Through this conference, rr88 tải province hopes that businesses in the province and across the country will gain deeper access to the distribution systems of Cambodia and Laos, promote trade linkages between provinces and cities in the Southern key economic region and neighboring countries, and increase import and export turnover through border gates in rr88 tải province. This will strengthen friendly neighborly relations, solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with Cambodia and Laos.
The conference is part of the National program on Trade promotion: the Tinh Bien - rr88 tải International Trade Fair 2026 , taking place from June 4th to June 10th at Xuan To Industrial Park, Tinh Bien Ward, rr88 tải Province.
