Humanitarian Month 2026 is not only an occasion to look back on the Society's 8-decade journey, but also marks a shift toward more professional and transparent humanitarian activities. Notably, the Society has proposed piloting the "Humanitarian Indicators" initiative, aiming to make compassion a quantifiable criterion in community development. In addition to domestic activities, the Vietnam Red Cross Society continues to affirm its international responsibility by providing humanitarian support to countries affected by natural disasters and conflicts, helping to promote the image of a compassionate and responsible Việt Nam.

Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Bùi Thị Minh Hoài, emphasized that for nearly 80 years, the Vietnam Red Cross Society has affirmed its role as a trusted bridge in humanitarian work. Humanitarian Month, an initiative bearing Việt Nam’s hallmark, has increasingly become a highlight in mobilizing resources and spreading the value of compassion.

Right at the launch ceremony, the Organizing Committee received nearly 300 billion VND from organizations and individuals contributing to the humanitarian fund, raising the total pledged resources to nearly 600 billion VND.

The total value of support activities at the rr88 tải venue reached 900 million VND. The support activities not only help share immediate hardships but also aim to create livelihoods and provide better conditions for people to gradually stabilize their lives and achieve sustainable growth.
